How to replace the toner in Brother DCP-L2540DW
To replace the toner in your Brother DCP-L2450DW printer,
- First, ensure that the Brother DCP-L2450dw printer is switched on.
- Now, try to open the front cover.
- Then, take the toner cartridge and the drum unit assembly out from your printer machine.
- You have to push down the green lock lever so that the toner cartridge can be taken out quickly from the drum unit.
- Now, take the new cartridge out from the packing and remove the extra protective cover.
- Shake the cartridge back and forth to spread the toner evenly inside the cartridge.
- Then, place the new Brother DCP l2540dw toner cartridge into the drum unit.
- Gently, clean the corona wire inside the drum unit by sliding the green tab left to right.
- Now, you can install the drum-toner cartridge assembly back to the printer machine.
- Close the front cover of the Brother DCP-L2540DW printer.

- At first, you have to open the front door of the Brother DCP l2540dw Toner.
- You must press and hold the replace button until you see ‘replace drum message on your printer.
- Now, choose the option Yes and the press the start button.
- Tap the up and down arrow keys in an alternate manner. Now you can see "00".
- In the next step, press the OK button to make the confirmation.
- Now, you can shut the printer’s front cover.
